Well, it's already Friday...hard to believe. This week went very fast for me.

If you were following my old blog, you might remember that I said I had a family reunion to attend last Saturday. I was wrong. It's tomorrow in NJ. I have been so confused with dates and times this month. I don't know why. Ever since I took a week off from work to move into the house, I've been mixed up.

I'm also about to give a blood donation to the Red Cross. They have set up a Bloodmobile at my office building, and my appointment is in about 15 minutes. I haven't given blood in a while, so I'm a bit nervous. The last time I did, I hadn't had enough fluids beforehand, and I wound up passing out. Oops.

Other than that, we will be painting our kitchen and family room this weekend. I'm looking forward to it. Maybe I'll even take some before/after shots and post them here!

I decided to move my blog to this space, because frankly, I had given too much information on myself in my old blog.

Like my last name. When I'd set it up, I thought it would be cool if people could find me by searching for my name. But after a while, I felt like I couldn't really discuss all the things that were on my mind, like my job, my family, or my friends...because there are people in my life, who I wouldn't necessarily want reading my innermost thoughts, but who could easily find them online. All they'd have to do is Google my full name, and boom! There was a link to my blog.

So hopefully, this blog will give me a little more anonymity. I also feel freer to post pictures of myself, my house, etc. in this new space.
